Port Arthur Convention and Visitors Bureau

Description:
The Port Arthur Visitor Bureau partnered with Rhyme & Reason Design to create a brand new website for Visit Port Arthur. Hurricane Harvey washed away our offices, and a major hack all but destroyed our old website; therefore, we were in a perfect position to not only refresh, but remake the image, voice and messaging behind PACVB.

Objective:
Our objective was to design a new website that would be attractive and engaging while highlighting Port Arthur's unique assets and cultural backdrop. The project was unique in that we were designing the website in the midst of a total re branding of the CVB. In this way, the website will serve as a visual guide for ongoing and future branding efforts.

Stephenville Tourism & Visitors Bureau

Description:
This website was built to launch the new Stephenville Tourism & Visitors Bureau (STVB). Our main goals with this site were to show all of the beautiful aspects of Stephenville and why people should visit our community. We feature interactive and engaging media that tells our story in a new way. The website features events, attractions, lodging, and everything Stephenville has to offer. Our agency partner is Flight Reach Productions

Objective:
1. Position Stephenville as a tourism destination
2. Build social media following
3. Show services and features
4. Easy and intuitive navigation

Visit Addison

Description:
The Visit Addison website was recently redesigned to appeal to both leisure travelers and meeting planners. The mobile-friendly, easy-to-navigate site features captivating photography, Addison’s popular Instagram feed, a moving menu bar with key links to a Visitor’s Guide, contact information and the Visit Addison app.

Objective:
  • To position Addison as an exciting, easy-to-access destination for events and experiences at the heart of the DFW Metroplex.
  • To highlight Addison Tourism’s Pillars which include Restaurants, hotels, events, and meeting space.
  • To create a page that, while still connect to the Town’s home page, has its own design to remain competitive in the North Texas Market.
  • To showcase Addison through Addison’s Instagram feed. We soon will be adding a user generated feed on the site as well.
  • To prominently feature the visitor guide and the Visit Addison App.

Agency Project

Project Costs: Because this was a microsite on the Town of Addison’s government page, the majority of the cost was incorporated into the overall project budget.

Visit Tyler

Description:
Several of the pages on the Visit Tyler website got a new look this year. We focused on the planner pages as well as the “Trip Ideas” section of the website. The new look is cleaner, uses more visuals, and is more user friendly compared to the old design. Planners and leisure travelers alike will be able to better navigate these pages and find the information they need faster.

Objective:
To create a better user experience for the planners and leisure travelers. To make the information planners are looking for easily accessible.
