Description:: With the pandemic halting all travel, the focus quickly became our local community and the close-by drive market. The goal was to create a leisure traveler video showing safe outdoor and socially distancing activities for the entire family to enjoy in Garland.

In less than 30 seconds, the video features fishing on Lake Ray Hubbard, fun at Hawaiian Falls, and bowling at the state-of-the-art Strike + Reel entertainment venue, to name a few.

Objectives: The goal was to create a leisure traveler video showing safe outdoor and socially distancing activities for the entire family to enjoy in Garland.

Visit Addison

Description:: “Addison: At the Center of It All” provides a look into what Addison has to offer our visitors.It includes local eateries, attractions, and other unique attributes of Addison. The 2-minute longform video was also edited down into several shorter versions including 15 second social media posts, as well as versions focusing on nightlight and meetings.All videos have been shared on our social channels and website, as well with hotel sales teams to help their clients get familiarized with Addison.

Objectives: To showcase Addison’s unique attributes and help us stand out as a top leisure and meeting destination through an attention grabbing, dynamic video.

Project Costs:: $29,000

Visit Mansfield

Description: To close out a very rough year we decided to focus on the positives and highlight the ways Visit Mansfield was able to help the community. "Farewell 2020" also showed what events and tournaments were still able to be held in a modified fashion.

The music was created by a local artist.

Objectives: The primary objective was to recap 2020, showing what tourism was still able to do for Mansfield even in a very trying time, as well as looking ahead to the promise of better days.

Project Costs: $0 for Video Production.

Description: Mineral Wells Virtual Historic Tour

What about our TDM history credits?

When TACVB made the decision to take the annual conference virtual, many TDM students and the Education Committee began asking how the hard-to-get history credits would be earned. A virtual conference needs a virtual heritage case study tour!

And though the videos were created for TDM students, they were watched by many, many more conference attendees. They’ve also been posted to YouTube to become a part of our virtual experience library and have a dedicated page on the Visit Mineral Wells website.

    Visit Alpine Texas

    Description:: This video was created to recognize Alpine's certification as a Texas Music Friendly Community. The interview and song performance were shot by partner staff at Sul Ross State University and the editing was done in-house using b-roll catalog footage. The video was premiered during the virtual-only 2020 Viva Big Bend Music Festival, accompanying an announcement video from the Texas Music Office.

    Objectives: To celebrate Alpine as a Texas Music Friendly Community, and recognize the small-town personality of Alpine's tiny, yet still vibrant and welcoming, local music scene.
