Description:: The idea that College Station is a destination that fosters healthy competition is what inspired the new brand name, and hearing first-hand from tournament coaches about why they choose to bring their athletes here, is a ringing endorsement of our Sports Tourism efforts.

Objectives: This video was used as a brand introduction, following our brand changing from Bryan Colege Station Sports + Events to Compete College Station.

Visit Conroe

Description:: Visit Conroe has partnered with Margaritaville Resort, Lake Conroe to create a light-hearted message to our industry peers letting them know we are excited to see them IN PERSON in August at TACVB Annual Conference! This message is in the form of a short promotional video starring the Visit Conroe Team and shot by Margaritaville Marketing.

Objectives: Our goal in partnering with Margaritaville to create this light hearted promo video is twofold. Visit Conroe’s primary objective in creating the video is to promote TAVCB Annual Conference to our peers and create excitement. Margaritaville will also be able to utilize the video as they see fit for their marketing purposes.

Description: Virtual Site Tour Videos-

With the onset of Covid-19, site tours came to a halt across the nation. With so many conventions and meetings being cancelled or pushed to a later date, Visit The Woodlands knew that as the year went on there would be a need for a limited number of events and meetings to move forward in varying destinations. With most planners not traveling for traditional site tours, Visit The Woodlands developed Virtual Site Tour videos of our 3 largest properties so we could ensure Meeting Planners had access to the feel and layout of the properties they were considering for business. This is a tool that the sales team uses daily during the selling process and has been a tool that has helped lock in business during this time.

Objectives: •Educate Meeting Planners on The Woodlands hotel properties

  • Offer Site Tour replacement for new Covid-19 restraints
  • Offer Sales Team tools for future selling process
  • Project Costs: $1,500 per video.

    Visit The Woodlands is lucky to have some incredible local video production vendors that were willing to negotiate the production costs of the video due to Covid-19 constraints. Visit The Woodlands staff also developed the script, video timeline, and talent to save on costs.
