Description: The “Welcome to Summer in Downtown Plano” social media campaign was a cooperative marketing program with Downtown Plano businesses.

Objectives: The campaign was designed to attract visitors to the Downtown Plano Arts District this summer utilizing social media and video. The video showed a current real-time look at how vibrant the Downtown Plano area is during summer.

The Facebook video was shared 41 times by Downtown Plano supporters. The Instagram video was shared 9 times to Instagram Stories and saved 12 times. An Instagram Story campaign highlighted all of the businesses and had an impressive reach of 1,110.

Description:

Hemispheres Magazine is the in-flight magazine for United Airlines, which has 1.3 million U.S. subscribers. For the November 2019 edition, the publication included a large editorial piece (Dossier insert) that featured Houston and surrounding areas. The 8,000-word article took up a 1/3 of the magazine and covered Economic Development, Tourism, Quality of Life, Business Sectors and more. Visit The Woodlands partnered with The Woodlands Are Economic Development Partnership to purchase advertising to complement this story. The placement was a 2-page spread within the Dossier insert.
