Visit McAllen

Visit McAllen and the City of McAllen developed a co-op marketing program designed to drive consumer traffic and hotel occupancy while highlighting McAllen's best assets and important stakeholders. The co-op is comprised of various city departments including McAllen Convention Center, Parks & Recreation, Retail Development, Airport and Public Works just to name a few. Working with a marketing/advertising agency partner the "I Know a Place" campaign was born to encompass the needs and desired results of multiple departments.

To increase overall awareness of McAllen as a destination for tourism, sporting events, retail & business
Continue to promote a positive relationship with the highly important Mexican National traveler & consumer

Visit The Woodlands

To celebrate National Reading Month Visit The Woodlands donated copies of Goodnight to The Woodlands to a number of Woodlands hotel properties.The book was written by a local author who based his book off of the well-loved “Goodnight Moon” bedtime story concept of a main character saying goodnight to everything around.Copies of Goodnight to The Woodlands have been offered to all fourteen Woodlands hotel properties and can currently be “checked out” by hotels guests.Copies were also given away via social media to help promote the program.

Visit The Woodlands promotes and focuses on The Woodlands being recognized as a destination for family travel and being a kid-friendly vacation option. By offering this unique take on Goodnight Moon, a popular children’s bedtime story, Visit The Woodlands hopes to encourage family travelers for generations to come.
